Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Mann Ki Baat Programme, recently advised the nation to stop taking antibiotic without consulting the doctor during monsoon.
Everything comes with little bit of disappointment with it and monsoon is one of that in India. You can be happy about monsoon but with that also comes some illnesses. Few days back people were worrying about drought situation in some of the places in India where as we hear about floods in the same areas. Due to the sudden change in climate people tend to fall ill and just to apply the short cut of fighting the infection, majority of people start taking antibiotics without even consulting their doctors. “Please stop doing that, it can only give you momentary relief,” Prime Minister Modi said while addressing the nation in the 22nd edition of his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme.
He also urged to complete the full course of antibiotics, as not completing it or taking an overdose would be harmful. We have to be careful and take precautionary measures to fight those illnesses,” he added.
